We got in to Berlin last night and booked three nights at this great hostel. One of the guys that owns it was working last night and was around to see the Berlin wall come down. He's a super cool, interesting guy name Sven and he got Cody wasted last night when Cody mentioned we're on our honeymoon. He returned to our room at five this morning after celebrating with Sven.

I cruelly woke Cody up at 10am because I really wanted to go on this walking tour I read about that sounded fabulous. Cody finally got out of bed around 11:30. We quickly headed over to Alexanderplatz and looked inside the Marienkirche and around the square before we headed over to West Berlin to join the walking tour.

It turns out the tour was fantastic. Cody was torn between totally enjoying it and fighting his hangover. He was quite miserable the entire time but somehow managed to absorb a lot of the information our wonderful guide was giving us. The tour lasted about one and a half hours. We walked all over the city and learned seven hundred years of history in that time. We were moving at a brisk walk, much to Cody's discomfort, and saw several landmarks around Berlin.

Afterwards Cody wanted to go straight to bed so I had a pretty boring evening. I do give him credit for coming with me in the first place though so it was a fair trade!
