Auntie Anne picked me up yesterday afternoon from Auntie Ali's and took me back to her place where I am staying now. Gary and Anne wanted to go out for a nice dinner which sounded great to me and gave me a chance to wear nice clothes once more before going to Ghana. We decided to go to the pub where Andrew works since he was getting off soon and wanted to have a pint with us after. The dinner there was really good and the pub has so much character. It is Gary's old local so he gave me a tour and history lesson. It is a really big pub and has two fireplaces and an impressive wine cellar.

After we had dinner and a few drinks there, we got in a cab and went to another pub. Anne and Gary left Andrew and I there as Anne had to get up quite early for work. Andrew and I stayed there awhile before going somewhere else until closing. Then we walked back home and I was wearing high heels so Andrew took off his massive shoes and made me wear them while he walked along in his socks Gary, me and Anne

. What a good cousin! When we got home we woke up Tim and convinced him to have a few drinks with us. We ended up staying up all night chatting and got to say good-bye to Anne and Gary as they headed off to work in the morning. Then Andrew and I decided to go into London. Tim was too tired to join us so we headed out to the train station in the pouring rain. I was soaked but by the time we got to London I was fairly dry again and we both managed to have a nap on the train.

We headed past Buckingham Palace through St. James's Park to the Cabinet War Rooms. We walked past the entrance and got to the other end of this massive building before seeing the signs pointing us back where we had come from. So we turned around and searched for the entrance a bit more carefully.

Once we had accomplished the feat of finding it, we toured the war rooms with our audio guides. It was really interesting but we were both pretty exhausted at this point and I had trouble concentrating. So we decided to get some food from a random cafe near Westminster Abbey. We both had the full English breakfast which was absolutely horrible. I didn't eat much as I thought it might make me sick.

We went back to the train station and came back to the house and quickly fell into our beds. I only slept for a couple of hours and then got up to do some laundry and get my luggage for Egypt and Ghana sorted. I don't think I will have any problems sleeping through the night tonight.
