Viva Las Vegas

We arrived in Las Vegas - SIN CITY and walked off the plane into a casino game lounge!! (Andrew Eather, Glennie you would LOVE it here!!!) Here you really DO get porn mags in your mail (Mark!) and every second shop is a gentleman's club, dirty leather shop, showgirl wear, tattoo parlour, wedding chapel, casino, bar, bottleshop or smoke shop.
We stayed at Circus Circus (felt like we had run away to the circus) and it took us 6 full days to explore the main strip! The strip is made up of massive themed hotel/casino things which had shows and singers and shops and movies and restaurants and clubs and STRIPPERS!!!
Sad to say, we missed the Bellagio Water fountain display (choreographed with lights and music) because of a freak wind storm. Thanks to the wind we still got sprayed!!
We saw the most amazing Cirque Du Soliol show called "Ka" which had a revolving stage (at one stage the ground became fully vertical...sand poured into the fire pits and the actors were tumbling on strings like dancy rock-climbers!)
We also saw American Superstars (impersonators of Brittney, Christina, Michael J, Elvis and some other country singer guy) with a solo performance from a 7year old audience member who dressed for the show and danced better than the Michael who was being paid!!!
And last (but definately not least) we found some tickets in our letterbox to 'American Storm'. Ladies....use your imagination!!!!
(Kate was a bit broke so sacrificed her photo for her sister...hmph...and is still devastated)
We road all of the rollercoasters in the city and mastered 2 for 1 entry onto the monorail!! Thanks to the Waldens lucky $5's on red, we shouted ourselves some (fake) Bundy's!!
A jolly good salesman on the street convinced us to tip him for "free front-of-line nightclub entry and drink" cards to the nightclub Brittany partied at on NYE. Appartently, some guy paid $90,000 to sit in the nightclub booth beside her. He leaned over and stroked her hair during the night. The next day she shaved her head and booked herself into rehab!!! The club was called 'Pure' but god, it was not!!!
We walked inside and felt wet......then we realised a woman in a bikini was splashing us with her bathwater!?!!!?!?!!! There were also sectioned off beds for those who had the money (and the need!) The lines were huge, cover charge $40, the Pussycat dolls danced/sang on Tuesdays (lucky us), and a basic spirit cost $10........and we tipped the guy on the street $3 each.........ha ha haa!!!!!
VIVA LAS VEGAS!!!

Hi Girls, Looks like you are both having an absolute BALL!!! Hey if you get a chance, steal one of those storm boys and stuff them in your luggage on your way back to australia, i'll pay the excess baggage!!! (don't tell andrew) cheers and stay safe Renaee and Andrew

Las Vagas looks like an over the top sort of place. I like the photo with American Storm- they looked just like the band boys in the pool photos at your send off party!!
