We came in to port in Grenada at around 7:00AM and I got up around 8:00am and decided that I was just going to relax on the boat. I put on my swim suit and went to have breakfast with Dad and Kathy; I had a light Breakfast of Fruit...and bacon. Dad and I went to the Thalssotherapy pools and relaxed for a little while again, and then I went up on the deck and laid in the sun until it started raining. Dad sat out there with me too and we just enjoyed the sun and relaxed.
Dad went on shore for about 15 minutes to buy cold medicine for him, and sun block for me. During all this that Dad and I were doing Kathy wa laying in the room feeling poorly...she had a little too much fun the two night before. Kathy has not yet found the right pace for a cruise. We just really vegged all day...it was awesome!
Wine tasting
At 3:00 we all went down to the Lounge for Wine tasting class. We had the opportunity to taste 12 wines from 6 different countries. It was really fun and they had snacks there too. I really enjoyed it and there was big crowd there. I am going to so the next one which is Wine and food pairing on the day at sea.
After the Wine tasting class we all came back to the rooms to rest a little and get ready for dinner...I took a nap and I think it may have been the best nap have ever taken!
After that we all went to the Show, it was dancing and singing...it was a fun show but I think I could have done just as well as the dancers...I didn't go to 5 summers of dance camp and not learn anything...I actually really could have done everything they did...and the choreography was a little cheesy.
Dinner and Later
We tried out a different place for dinner, the Water fall Bistro. It was good, and a nice change for dinner. I had scallops (My favorite) for an appetizer and chilled tomato soup, and a tomato and mozzarella salad; all were starters before the meal. My main course was Chicken and Macaroni and cheese...I know I should be eating everything super fancy right...it sounded good. We opened our x-mas presents also! I got a gold chain for my Coin from Dad (it is perfect and very pretty), and a gift certificate from Kathy. Kathy got a pair of really pretty earrings from dad, and she gave him a cigar case.
After dinner we went to the Casino to spend a little money. They were doing a raffle (Free to enter) for cash and prizes. We hung in there until the last drawing thinking we weren't going to win anything and then Dad got called for the Grand prize! All he had to do was guess what color the roulette ball would land on. He got it wrong L but he got a certificate for free internet and a t-shirt that might barely fit me.
They (Dad and Kathy) went to bed after that and I went up to the disco; they played seventies music for a while with the band then the DJ started. I sat and listened to the music for a while; and then one of the singers from the show came up and started talking to me. It was interesting to find out what ship life is like. After that I just went to bed...I was sleepy.
The only thing that might make this more fun is if I had a friend who wanted to hang with in the evenings...Dad has Kathy so sometimes I do feel a little like a third wheel, but I am not going to let it get me down because I am having a blast. AND all of my friends who are reading this...any of you can take me on a cruise anytime (you know who you are!)...lol.
