On the way to the West coast via Buller Gorge, I was planning to stop somewhere here for the night but nothing really materialised from that so I kept on driving on to Westport for some fuel and then to quite a strange place for the night, Jack's Gasthof a very informal camping area next to a pub / pizza restaurant on the road between Westport and Charleston. Cheap though..
