Well what a crazy happening happened today I tell ya...    Just strolling down the street this morning, off to sort my self on a boat tour on the Beagle Channel and I see a TV crew ahead in the street. Curiosity of course getting the better of me I go to see whats happening just lurking about then the girl in front of the camera beckons me forth and asks where I'm from so I say England and she asks hows my Spanish. Er ok I guess..  Great, she says, can I interview you? Well of course, I reply,... what for?  Live TV for a show called Badia on Argentine national channel 7..   Gulp..  Then one of the production crew comes over and sticks a earpiece in my ear (thankfully) and clips the receiver thing to my belt and says its ok your going out live across the country....  Gulp...

So the girl starts the intro thing shes walking up and down the street and I can hear her speaking in my ear and the guy in the studio in Buenos Aires talking to her too, oh my god this is toooo weird I'm thinking, oh and what on earth am I supposed to be saying ???

So the moment comes, the cameras on me and she asks my name and where I'm from, yup cool know the answers to those two questions, then how am I enjoying Ushuaia so I said something about how beautiful the mountains are and that I'm going to take a boat trip today and go off to the National park tomorrow. Going Live!
Going Live!
.

Then the guy in the studio said something or other and I just managed to understand that he asked why I wanted to visit Ushuaia, so I explained how Id traveled for 5 months through South America and had made it to the end of the world.. Lots of smiles and nods coming back from the girl interviewing me so must have be saying something right.. Then the guy in my ear said a whole bunch of stuff but that I didn't understand at all but tried not to look too confused.. then the girl says bueno y gracias Jon so I guessed this may be the end so said thanks too smiled at the camera and that, as they say, was a wrap....

It wasn't until after wards I really thought about it all and just bust out laughing to myself as I continued to walk up the street and smiling like some lunatic..  As I approached the port area where the boat tours leave, a couple walking towards me said hey its you you were on the TV!!..   Yup its me i said.. haha more laughing and loon smiling..

Well, Julie, remember I said Clooney started his movie career late in life and if he can why not me??  So I'm just waiting all the movie offers to roll in now... !!!   ;-)

I think the word random is overused these days, but, THAT was random.....
