We drive to Blackheath and walk the Grand Canyon Trail from Neates Glen to Evan's Lookout. It is only 5km but involves descending into a narrow canyon on a path then climbing back up. We don't see anyone else until we have done most of the walk. It is even more spectacular than yesterday. It seem as though there is a striking new view around every corner. The most enjoyable walk so far.


In the afternoon, we do domestic chores: a visit to the laundrette and Andrew has a haircut at great expense: 10ASD = £4. One mustn't skimp on appearance.


We have dinner in the Old City Bank Brasserie in Katoomba. Very good.
