We walk for about 2 miles looking for the Paddington market and eventually stumble upon it more by good fortune than any map reading skill. The market is held every Saturday in a school playground. There is a range of stalls selling everything from clothes to crystals.
In the afternoon, we take the ferry from Cenral Quay to Watson's Bay passing harbourside communities, yachts etc. On the recommendation of yesterday's bridge guide, we have fish and chips in Doyle's restaurant. We walk round the South Head and see where the harbour meets the ocean. Spectacular views of the harbour entrance. We walk further than the normal tourist route and emerge from the coastal path into an open air wedding ceremony. We adopt an "eccentric guest in shorts and back pack" approach and seem to get away with it. The sun is going down behind the harbour bridge and opera house as we sail back on the ferry.
