Left hotel at an unearthly hour and walked 2 mile to harbour bridge for tour. 11 of us and a guide. They are very careful that no-one is able to drop anything so we are kitted out in boiler suits with hats and gloves attached. No cameras allowed. Thorough safety briefing. We are attached toa safety wire for the whole of the 3.5 hr visit. The guide is very entertaining with lots of stories relating to him and his wife, the "child bride".


After lunch, we walk round the opera house and the botanic gardens. Then early supper (we have discovered James Squire Ales - excellent) and on to the theatre where we see "Priscilla Queen of the Desert", the musical of the film. It is camper than a scout jamboree and great fun. Recommended when it comes to the UK next year.
