I visited the famous church, it's really nice on the outside, and I wish I could say the same about the inside, but it was not that fancy inside. One thing I noticed though which I found a bit funny is that normally in a church they have paintigs. But this church had manuqins showing the story and I actually found it quite interesting... After the church I walked passes a jewelery shop for buying Jade. They has some really nice stuff there, and I ended up with buying 3 pair of earrings. I have a thing for earrings now. They are easy to wea and easy to carry. Before I had a thing for necklesses, and now I'm into the earring fase. The price wasn't too bad, total of 130USD or something. And he even gave me some Jade stones so if I want I can take them to Norway and make something I want out of them. But I'm sure that it will be madly expensive getting something made out of them...
Afterwards I just walked around looking. Went into the craft marked and to the other marked. The marked was HUuUuge and, much bigger than the one in Chetumal. I seemed to have no ending. Everything you want you could find in there. And I'm sure that some of the raw meat stands that they have there wouldn't have passed the food health thing of Norway. It's weird, because in Norway we are soooo picky about our food, like chicken shouldn't be too long outside the fridge. But here I'm sure that the chicken is on the counter for many many hours. And a lot people here doesn't even have a fridge... So I think that many of our concerns are a waste of time....
Was on the internett as well trying to come up with a plan for what I was going to do, stopped at some tour operators as well to ask for buses to Managua, Nicaragua. Three options: 1. Tics bus with overnigth stay in San Salvador 2. King quailty leaving at 0400 from Antigua w/shuttle to Guatemala city. Arrival in Manauga at 2300. 3. Cruoses(can't remember how it's spelled) leaving Antigua with shuttle at 0230am, departig Guatemala city at 0400, and arriving in Managua at 1700.
The last options would be my best choice, however it's way too many hours in a bus for me, and from Managua it would be another 4-5 hrs bus ride down to San Juan del sur. And another 10 hours or something down to San Jose. Sooo to be honest it's not very tempting... I have to consider if I will take he bus tonight or tomorrow night... I have choosen hat I will stay one more day in Antigua..
Afterwards I had an quick call with my mum and my boyfriend and ended up talking to some new arrivals to my dorm. Two guys, seemed very nice. They are traveling together with another girl and a boy.
Fell asleep pretty straight away today as well;)
