Day 27

Hi all,

We arrived in the Springs around 11:00AM.  We went to The Garden of the Gods which is a lovely municipal park just out of town.  It has beautiful red rock outcroppings.  Thanks for the tip Philippe.  We then did a scouting run to the base of Pikes Peak.  Weather permitting we may drive up before we leave tomorrow.

We visited my nephew Mark and wife Cindy.  Great niece Alyssa is visiting New Mexico grandparent.  We had a wonderful home cooked dinner of ribs and  taco salad.  He did you proud on his ribs Bro and the salad too Sis.  We were stuffed.  Cindy is doing fine and did a pretty good job eating the ribs.  For those not in the know Cindy is pregnant and food does not agree with her at this time.

We also took the opportunity to do some much needed laundry.
