HE SAID:
About a one hour flight from Hoi An and we landed in Hue. So nice to be back on one hour plane rides as opposed to the 4 to 5 hour buses that we have become accustomed to. We arrived at our spectacular hotel, Pilgrimmage Village Resort; www.pilgrimagevillage.com. This place is so nice that we considered changing our flight out of Hue to stay a few more days. But the weather was cold and rainy so we decided to keep our flight. Hue is not much of a town but has some really fantastic tombs of previous rulers. Many of these tombs are massive with lakes and trees and as a result they look like parks. Every ruler except one is actually buried in a secret spot and not in their tomb. Some tombs are better than others to visit but although not as impressive as Hoi An, still overall a worthwhile stop.
