Reluctantly left the Dionysos Hotel and headed for our 5 hour drive to Kas. On the way there we checked out a little beach called Calis (close to Fethiye). The beach was long and sandy with very clear water. We found a great little beach club at the end of the strip to have lunch over looking the water. Hopped back into the car and stopped in the famous Oludeniz to check out the Blue Lagoon. This place is stunning but unfortunately over run with tourists. Back on the road to Kas and now the highway is right on the cliff side was outstanding views of the coastline and nearby greek islands. There are several little beach shelters in cave like outlets that we vow to go back and check out. We get into Kas and are very happy with our hotel, www.gardeniahotel-kas.com/en. It is the best here in Kas, thank you Trip Advisor and Adam. We spend the night wandering around town, our new favorite so far in turkey, and grab a quick dinner at a local Turkish restaurant. Anyone who is touring the Turquoise Coast must stop in Kas it is ideal, with numerous cute shops, restaurants, cafes, pubs, little winding streets with blooming flowers, and crystal blue water.
