HE SAID:
Belfast had such a great museum, The Transporation & Open Air Folk museum.  I thought this would be a quick 2 hour in and out visit, but I couldn't leave.  I didn't think I would find trains, old bikes, and cars so interesting but I did.  This museum is huge.  One room must have at least 30 old trains.  Some of them you can go in, so cool (although don't tell my friends I think this).  The folk museum is an open air museum where they moved a many historical houses, buildings, shops to create an old town center feel.  Very interesting to see how people lived back them as if we were actually there!  Some of the shops would have people in period costume that would tell us how things were done back then (ie. printing presses, photographs).  Again, I thought this museum would be lame, but in fact we stayed so long that we were worried we wouldnt have enough time for the transporation museum next door.  We only had one night in Belfast and it rained that night so we didn't get a chance to do much in Belfast; not that there is too much to do here, anyway.  It is a nice town and worth a visit.  We liked our hip and happening hotel, Ten Square; www.tensquare.co.uk.  The sad thing is we felt too old to take a visit down the hip and happening bar downstairs to watch TV and surf the web.  What's wrong with us?
