Killarney National Park and Kenmare
Entry 33 of 193 | show all | print this entry |
HE SAID: The Killarny National park was beautiful. We stopped in the ticket sales shop and asked what sights were best to see and they said the park over the the sights that require an entrance fee: Muckross House and the Farms. I was ok with this information. So we decided to go on a 3 hour walk that consisted of waterfalls, lakes, and tons of trees and everything else that is green (including the horse residue that lined the trail). Not much too exciting to write about, but a great day nonetheless. We arrived at our hotel in Kenmare, Sheen Falls Lodge and had an amazing view of the stream right by our room; www.sheenfallslodge.ie. Both restaurants at the hotel wouldnt allow jeans, so I knew I would prefer to eat somewhere else.
