SHE SAID:
Headed out to Cashel today to see the city ruins. The drive was about an hour and through beautiful country side. Green pastures with scattered ruins and filled with sheep (cute ones with black heads and legs), cattle, goats, and even a few dogs. Every farm house we passed was perfectly maintained and picture perfect. Turning the bend and seeing Cashel perched up on the hilltop was straight out of a fairytale, it is beautiful. I highly recommend a visit if in the vicinity. Afterwards headed back to Kilkenny and explored it's castle (very lovely) followed by dinner at the famous Kyeteler's Inn.
