HE SAID:
Today we relaxed by the pool and beach of our hotel and then took a trip to Marbella.  Marbella was probably THE place to be back in the '70s.  Definitely not today.  The buildings were old and ugly although I did enjoy walking the long path on the beach with tons of restaurants.  It was packed with people and we were both so happy that we decided to stay in Mijas.  Our hotel never had more the 4-5 people on the beach at the same time, what a difference!  
SHE SAID:
I agree with Adam that Marbella seemed dated, but I could picture it in its glory days.  The long long long (seemingly endless) marble pathway along the coast was fun to stroll while people and dog watching. So many cute little doggies I miss Abby, Nikki, and Rocky!
