SHE SAID:
Went to visit the Nerja Cuevos (caves) first thing today. It was a short drive from the hotel and we actually got in free from the hotel. The caves were amazing, much better than we had anticipated. There were several different areas some small and other large. One of the caves was set up with a stage and chairs for a concert later this month, very cool. The best stalactite is in Guinness for the largest in Europe, it's huge, they think it took over 1 trillion drops to form it.
After the caves we continued to drive eastward around the tip of the peninsula and drove down to a beach recommended in the guidebook. So we drove down, parked the car and walked towards to ocean. First we see several topless women, no big deal here in Europe. Then we walk into the next cove and it's a nudist beach! Naked people everywhere, very weird for us! After the naked beach we drove back to the hotel and went and checked out "the balcony of Europe" just a ten minute walk through town. The town of nerja is very quaint and cute, overall we had a nice day!

First of all let me say that Stacy personally calculated the 1 trillion drop figure; very impressive indeed. Secondly, she says that topless women are no big deal, I disagree with this. I find it a very big deal. We had our first great southern spain meal today... Chinese! Fortunately for the people at the restaurant, Stacy found the time to put all of her clothes back on after getting back from the naked beach. Just kidding, of course.
