I woke up feeling like crap and couldn’t eat anything at all.  Good news though, the other three people who were sick were now much better so that means whatever they passed onto us, we would be better in a little over 24 hours time.  We had a 9 hour drive day and I found the nearest front seat and just passed out for as long as I could.  Since I didn’t vomit, all that came out of me was diahorrea which was better than nothing I suppose.  I think on the entire 9ish hour drive, I slept for most of it which is rare for me because I can never sleep on the truck.  I felt better after sleeping or when laying down but when I would sit or stand, I felt bad.  I decided to try to eat since its been awhile.  I kept down my ham sandwich for lunch.  We arrived at our next bush camp for the night and it was very different from what we’ve been at before.  We were in the desert and had huge red rocks all around us.  They were roundish and really cool to see from afar.  When the sun hit them, it was so neat to see.  We camped right next to one of the huge mounds of rocks and set up camp.  We had the chance to go on a guided walk but I declined because I was still feeling sick and I would rather go walking by myself.  I had the idea to bring my laptop and book and thought I would just climb some rocks and type or read away.  I set off by myself with my full backpack and started with a smaller bunch of rocks.  I easily climbed them and just laid out in the sun and enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the surrounding area.  I climbed down and set my sights on the bigger bunch of rocks right behind the camps.  I walked around for a bit and surveyed them to find the best climbing point.  I found it and started to climb.  Luckily the rocks are pretty rough and my shoes combined make for good traction control.  I made it up the rock on all fours but decided that I would have to find another way down because in my book, that would be an up only route.  I found a good spot on the edge near the top of the rocks and again laid down and this time got out the book.  I am reading my fourth book with is kind of a chick flick book but its about traveling so I enjoy it.  I could have laid there forever and read because it was so peaceful and comfortable.  Other people in my group climbed up to where I was at and told me dinner would be soon so I finished up my reading and climbed down the rocks.  On my way down I met a woman who was asking if anyone was up there.  I said no and she walked down with me.  She was from a different group and we chatted for a bit.  I thought she was American by her accent and I was wrong.  She was from Ottawa Canada and apparently she could tell by me accent that I was.  I don’t know how everyone knows I’m American from my accent.  Well I kind of know how everyone knows, its from TV shows and movies.  I always mistake the Canadians for Americans because they sound the same to me at first glance.  Unless they are French-Canadian.  At this point I was feeling a lot better but not 100% and I ate some dinner.   Went to bed earlyish after reading some more of my chick flick book.
