It’s been a few days since I’m writing this so my memory is starting to fade now but I’ll do my best.  I think a very long drive day as usual which consisted of the usual of cards, reading, me trying to sleep, and talking.  We arrived at some camp site and it seemed pretty nice to me.  It had a pool and a decent bar.  A few of us went for a swim in a somewhat cold pool.  Afterward some shower time followed by a beer at the bar which had some English football on the telly.  Soon after the football game we had probably the best dinner we have had yet on this trip.  The best part of the meal was some honey, brown sugar glazed pork chops.  And these weren’t any ordinary chops!  These things were twice the size of normal chops and cooked to perfection.  These things were cooked over the fire and so dam good, it was so incredible it was hard to stop eating!  With the pork, was butternut squash, potatoes, some veggie mix stuff, and some other veggie smoked over the fire with herbs and cheese.  If I were on Death Row waiting to be executed, that would probably be my third choice for a meal.  #1 would probably be the meal I had in Santa Barbara CA which was from an awesome Cajun restaurant followed by a steak and lobster dish from a restaurant in Okinawa Japan.  Dam I love food!!!  It was definitely the best food I’ve had cooked over a camp fire.  Dinner was followed by some awesome TV time at the bar watching those wacky Japanese game shows where people try all those kinds of stunts over water or whatnot.  A semi early night despite the great night!

That meal at the Cajun place in SB was pretty good, but I can't say my dish would be my #1 choice for my last meal. I had an awesome meal in Vancouver which is certainly in my top 3 ;-)
