Had a great day visiting the Panda Research Center.  I've seen a Panda bear before so I wasn't all the jazzed about going.  Boy was I wrong.  The research center and grounds are beautiful and the opportunity to see the Pandas up close and not in a observation room was amazing.  There was also a great movie dubbed in English that informed us about the history of the Panda's and the research center that we enjoyed at the the house while sipping a pretty good latte.
Turns out that Pandas have a hard time breeding because they're not terribly social creatures, don't like to move except to eat, and will wait their entire life for the perfect mate, even if they never find it.  Turns out I'm just like a Panda.
We had a great Indian food for dinner.  Our waiter was a guy in his mid twenties from Tibet.  He had live the past 4 years in India as a mathematician.  He was super smart and had a masters in some advance math I didn't even know existed.  He missed his parents and moved back to China to be near them.  Since he Tibetan he's viewed as the lower class and the only work he can find is as a waiter.  I was bummed for the guy and felt guilty being served by someone of his skill set.  I asked him what it was like and if he was angry but he said "no". He was happy to be with his family and made enough money to live.  One of those little life lessons you learn on the road.
Had drinks with Dave after dinner.  I mentioned how incredibly good looking the women were in China.  They are and they all wear high heels and baby doll dresses or short shorts.  They have a great interest in fashion and enjoy showing it off.  He told me it would be easy for me to get a Chinese girlfriend.  I was a westerner and there were only thousands of us and millions of them.  We westerners were a rarity, we were like the Pandas.  He told me I was a giant Panda and to act like one.  It became my mantra, "I AM a giant Panda, I Am a giant Panda".  Hahaha.
