We grubbed on fresh seafood that you pick out and have grilled up right on the street. We over ordered but it was all delicious: prawns, a whole red snapper (the best fish Jason has ever had, seafood satay, veggie kabobs, and all you can eat salad bar- yummy veggies! We made the mistake of drinking local vodka, Jon says it was no mistake, it was a calculated risk. Jungle juice at Rudy's was not that great so we added more local Mansion House vodka from the little bottle we bought. Mojitos at the Irish bar were tasty, but almost booze free. We bought Corrado (he is one of the extremely helpful and friendly dive masters at Manta Dive) a drink. Alison finally called it after yet another bad drink at Rudy's.
Travelers note: Avoid the local spirits, they're terrible and give awful hangovers. Pay the little bit extra for imported spirits, it's worth it. I swear the local stuff is made in someones dirty bath tub and bottled right on the island. Also you better get used to chickens cackling during the night.
