. Once getting on the plane we were stoked to find our seats were individual little pods with fully adjustable seats that stretch out into beds and an on demand entertainment center that has movies, music, and games. I dominated JNCP in battleship (he thinks I cheated) but he was the champ in othello. We were treated to a 4 course meal that was fine dinning caliber. "In fact, the chicken satay with peanut sauce was the best I ever had" per Jonny. He was even jealous of my awesome Indian style veggie meal. After much champagne, Baileys, and Xanax, we reclined in our pods and slept like rocks for 10 hours.
We awoke refreshed as daisies. We battled it out on our gaming system (JNCP is still convinced I cheat). When breakfast arrived we were totally disappointed until we realized that the tray was only the pre-meal tray. Breakfast was great. We landed in Taipei, which has beautiful lush green mountains and stunning golf courses. Almost made me want to take up golf.
Beers in the airport at a mock street food court. Back on the plane in our own seperate donkey free jet way. More good food, more champagne.
Despite our inexpensive business class tickets and our poor business class experience flying to Peru, so far so good. We bypassed all the donkeys at the ticket counter and our bags were taken to security by the 'bidnis' class sterward. Luckily he didn't have to work to hard as our competition for lightest bag ended in a tie at 8.2 pounds, I am sure it is a new world record. Perhaps I should have packed more than just the panties I am wearing and Jon should have used something bigger than a fanny pack. I am certain his medications outweigh his clothes. After bypassing the donkeys in security, but witness some crazy cowboy guy attempting to go through the metal detector without removing anything; steel tipped boots, 100% metal belt, rings, metal Texas tie, or his chain mail suit of armor...what was he thinking? We enjoyed the lounge with the open bar, free snacks, comfy seating, and the staff that alerts you when you should go board the plane so you don't have to wait with all the economy donkeys
