We left Rothenburg and made our way towards Hamburg.  It was about a 6 hour drive.  Trav drove 4 hours and I drove the last 2!  Yep...I drove!  My very first time in the 2 months of being away! I certainly miss my car at home and miss driving.  It was a breeze... a lot easier than being passenger!

We stopped in this cute little country town for a hot drink.  There were quite a few horse-drawn carts and heaps of oldies.  You know its a great place for a hot drink when there are a lot of oldies sitting out the front.  It was lovely (if you say lovely to people over here, they think you are from the UK!  Apparently the poms say 'lovely' quite a bit!).

We found a campsite not far from Hamburg city, parked Helios and chillaxed.  We went for a walk down the main street, sussed out where the train station was and Trav got another currywurst from this little cafe.  The old guy who served us didn’t speak much English but he knew how to say ‘I love you’ and Trav said it back to him in German which made the guy laugh.  We walked around the lake at the campsite and made friends with the ducks.  Gave them some of our left over bread.  That was mainly consisted of driving.
