We're happy little Vegemites ...

Where I stayed
Royal Campsite to Potsdam/Berlin
! It cost me €5 for a small jar which is about $8AUD but hell, I would’ve cut off my left arm for it! I was clicking my heels for the rest of the day. I don’t want to even talk about anything else! But I will. We made our way to the Radisson Hotel. They have this massive aquarium lift inside the hotel. It’s a 2 level lift and you go right up in the middle of it and you are surrounded by tropical fish. Loved it! It would be awesome to have a bedroom like that.
We grabbed our tickets to get access to the top of the TV tower. It was going to be a 2 hour wait so the TV tower sends you an sms 30 min prior to when we were allowed to go up. So we decided to head to Terigarten (Teir Gardens). No sooner than we got there, we got an sms it was our turn to head to the top of the tower. Typical. Had to go through more security to get to the top. 238 m up – great panoramic view of Berlin but how about that Vegemite hey?!. Cocktail time at the top! After a few cocktails we went to Hard Rock Cafe for a late tea. Awesome meals. Got back to camp just after 11pm.
The first thing on our agenda was to go to the Australian Embassy in Berlin to vote. How cool is that? Not everyday you can say that. We were standing on the street that the Embassy was on...wasn't sure which way to go. Do we go left or do we go right. Sure enough, there it was right in front of us with the Aussie flag flying high! What a great sight to see when you are on the other side of the world. We had to go through a security check point and from there an Aussie guy came out in thongs, stubbies and a tank top and asked us to fill out some forms. Haha, joking! Well an Aussie guy did come out and asked us to fill out a form but he was dressed in a suit. We lodged our votes and then we were done. It was so easy. And on the corner of the street where the Embassy was, was an Aussie Shop. An Aussie shop in Berlin that sold VEGEMITE. OMG, Crickey. fair shake of the sauce bottle...I was in heaven! I packed one tube of vegemite and I was running low – getting ready to cut the tube open and wipe the tube on my toast. So seeing a jar of vegemite made my day
