We had our first "full english breakfast" which includes bacon, eggs, sausage, beans, mushrooms, tomato and black pudding. When he expained black pudding contained blood and other stuff that sounds like Scottish Haggus, i tuned out to give myself the best chance of enjoying it! Kel used the restaurants  toilet & couldnt find the light switch.  Found a cord hanging from the roof so she pulled that.  Bad idea... set off a duress alarm (handicapp toilet). Luckily the ambos didnt come.

Learnt to negotiate the Motorways, a two person job at this stage. Lots of lanes, heaps of trucks and everyone about 10km over the speed limit! The English are quite polite on the road, havent heard many horns.. they dont believe in indicators though! Our GPS isnt so smart, and if we listed to it in Preston, we'd still be there making u-turns. We exited off the M6 and were instructed to “take the 5th exit”. As we rounded, counting the exits I realised that it was putting us back onto the M6 in the other direction! Managed to avoid this, and find another quieter exit where we were able to reassess. Learning point: do not put 100% faith in GPS!

Made it to Carl’s in South Norwood (what a huge relief!), the streets off the Motorway and main arterial roads are just like in The Bill. Noone seems to have driveways, cars parked on both sides of the road, and not enough room for 2-way traffic! Had a really nice meal (thanx Sarah!). House is big on the inside, with a large backyard. Everything grows so well because of all the rain. Kel saw a squirrell!  Woot to that. Didnt see any foxes.
