Arrived in Heathrow feeling quite refreshed – the business class flights were awesome and we'll try not to fly international economy again! (Kel wishes to add: awesome is an understatment...loved it so much!  And I didnt throw up!)  The meals consist of several entrees or appetisers, followed by a choice of 3-4 mains and desert. Because i notified them of my nut allergy, I had a couple of different appetisers and my main was different also – a bit more bland than the meals Kel had but still really nice. We both slept really well on the flight from Kuala Lumpur which took off at 11pm.

Arrived in Heathrow, organised coach+train to Preston, picked up the Camper, organised insurance – sounds simple but this took a day and a bit (it certainly wasnt simple! Farken fark fark). The insurance providers we had researched suddenly now would not insure with a international drivers license. The one which we were sure would, were too busy on the phone and would only take messages. Eventually got it sorted.

We had a pub meal which was cheap and nice and experienced our first pub brawl.  We think they were girls...ladettes we will call them!  No one else blinked an eyelid at this brawl. Must be a common thing in the UK!

Spent the first night in the closest caravan park to Preston. We drove along some country lanes where crops were farmed, asked horse riders for directions, took  a wrong road and ended up down a dirt road and into a paddock (4x4ing a camper on the first day – nice work!), but eventually found it. Not like Aussie caravan parks, this is a guys mowed backyard! Nice chap though...Ian was his name. One other camper there who was a local trying out a van he was servicing. Services: 240V power and a toilet, that is all.

A student of spanish language usually reserved for a first accomodation hostel by being cheaper, and therefore hostels records a large number of students staying, and considered it as a base in their search for permanent accomodation during the course. So i recommend staying in Hostels Barcelona

~ Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." - Mark Twain ~
