The day has finally arrived and tomorrow we fly out to St. Louis to meet up with the crew from Acts 1:8 Ministries (http://www.acts18stl.org/) bright and early tomorrow morning. Our team this year includes veterans Lois Schafer, Rachel Rockey, Elizabeth Rockey, and Jessica Rockey. We are also taking Evelyn Mohammed, Forrest King, Bill & Bev Cahill, Dave & Jeremy Labagh, and Dale & Mary Reuber along for the ride! Unlike last year we will not be the only teams in St. Louis, but we will be joined by teams from Indiana, Illinois, and Texas along with two girls from Southern Africa during the beginning of the week.
This evening, in our Bible study, we focused on Jesus' commissioning of the twelve disciples as they were sent out two by two. Yet while we are not sent out with nothing but the clothes on our backs (trust me, we have plenty of things!) and we are not sent out with only one other person (there are twelve of us), we are given the opportunity to make a difference in lives--both those we serve, those we serve with, and our own. We were sent to transform lives.
So as we go off to get some sleep before our bright and early morning, we ask that you keep us in your thoughts and prayers. Thanks to all our supporters out there!

Joy & Blessings!
