A day of rest if ever there was one. Very little was planned or achieved, although I did quite a lot of work with the pictures I'd taken the day before. The evening however was eagerly waited as Tony was once again our admired host. Firstly he told us not to order a starter. So for the main course I had Tagliatelli Fruites de la Mare, complimented with Soave and Fruili (red). The dessert was to be cooked by Tony himself and the waiting was worth it. Baked Alaska was presented to us in all its flaming glory. The sponge had been bathed in lashings of Amaretto and a mixture of ice creams decorated the inside. Truly incredible. We chatted with Tony for quite a while and he really does need someone to write a biography for him.
Back home I took some pictures of the full moon and the results were surprising to say the least.
The night was very cold and at 5am I was freezing.
