We left Toronto pretty miserable. Go figure, the biggest adventure in our lives, and we were exhausted and downright depressed about leaving our home, friends and family. We hit the highway in tears and checked into our bland motel 5 hours later feeling homesick. Thankfully, the next 5 days would occupy us at the Pat Wolfe Log Building School in Lanark, Ontario. Would we still have all our fingers and toes after firing up a chainsaw for the first time? We shall see!
