Saw two UNESCO Heritage sites here: the Saint-Benezet Bridge and the Palais de Popes. Learned that architects have a Patron Saint-Benezet. Good to know, we really need it at times! Our cute hotel was located right outside the ancient wall surrounding the central old city. We were happy to arrive after a totally crazy morning running to the train station Gare de Lyon in Paris. We had the first of many really amazing multiple course meals at the cow restaurant, La Vache a Carreaux.
