Just arrived in the 'blue city' of Jodhpur, India this afternoon.  Usual traffic congestion and chaos. Quite a shock to the system after the relative calm and tranquility of our camel 'safari'.  Term used loosely of course because it was actually more of a short ride....but brilliant nonetheless!
Met some other great travelers and aside from the nasty black bug that bit Samantha a few times in the night (and has yet to be identified!) it was a great time.  Walked and trotted on the camels...thank goodness for lots of padding! Spectactular sunset (yet, again!) this time reflecting on the fine light sand of the dunes with ripples from the cold wind.
Will see the fort here and the markets tomorrow then back to Delhi the next day.  It's hard to believe I'll be walking the streets of Los Angeles on the 14th and certainly yearning to return to my travels soon enough!
