Spent the afternoon yesterday on a boatride through a floating village. The lake was expansive and fairly calm and we motored out amongst the immersed mangrove trees (rainy season and the lake is high) stopping for a bit to let us get some drinks from the floating drink sellers in boats. Families are living in house boats and all major components of the village are floating: schools, sport courts, farms etc.

A group of us in the evening had dinner and watched traditional Cambodian dances and sipped half off (happy hour all night!) exotic cocktails, then off to a regular pub for drinks and pool....

Today, we go to Phnom Penh via a short plane flight where we stay for two days.
