Okay so this is officially (and unofficially, i never know what that means exactly) my last stop in Oz.  Just another local bus ride away, south of Perth this time, on the coast still is Fremantle.

The vibe and character i feel in Freo (as the locals call it) is fantastic, quaint but entertaining.  It's quite small but with lots of little shops, lots happening on the streets with buskers and street performers (it is the weekend afterall) and great architecture.  A lot of the buildings are from the late 1800s and have true character, as the homely streets are lined with them.  And there is live music everywhere which i a good vibe.

So i just wandered basically for two days, taking pictures, picnicking for one, smiling, taking in the vibe, listening to the sounds.  The market was on so i mingled through that for a good while, it was a good market...veg, fruit, food, goods, clothes, innovative knic knacs and what not...and a bar with live music.  I also checked oot the beach, did some wee shopping, and just sat people watched which i haven't done for a was grand.  I did it simply by sitting on a bench on one of the busy streets as well as sitting in a bar (both works, i couldn't resist) on the same street.  It was sooo entertaining, do peeps comform or not? or they short, tall, loose, tight, smiling, frowning, alone, not alone, high on life
or not's better than tv i say...and you can make up your own storyline.  The mind is a magical thang...

And here i am saying bye to Oz, aboot to head to the airport (to sleep in the airport, it's been a while for that as well).  Oz has been fantastic to me!  The culture is so very similar to that of Canada so it was all very easy and comfortable for me to adapt as well as the fact that i had some great friends that i visited.  That is what made my time the most precious and enjoyable, the company, the connection, and the compatilbility...and i am soo thankful for that, i will never forget that.  I love Oz and it's a bit surreal to say sooo long (i'll be back) but there IS always more...and im aboot to find ooot...
