My last hooray in Australia is a few days on the west coast which i haven't ventured to yet.

Perth is the most isolated metropolis in the world, the only major city being surrounded by 1000s of kms is isolation and harsh climate.  There's 2 million in the greater area and that is 90% all of Western's Australia's population as it is quite dissloated and remote with outback and desert.  The weather is bit warmer with sun shining and clear skies...apparently they just had 2 weeks of rain so good timing..yay.

The city itself it very laidback, quaint yet it is defo a city, that is why i describe as a small town, big has the small town feel with the big city atmosphere but not too big of course, it's all relative.  It's set on the Swan River which feeds into the Indian Ocean.  It has many parks including a huge one where i found the gorgeous Botanic Gardens, atop a hill, which also gives a great view of the city and surroundng area.  I had a lovely afternoon in the gardens just wandering feeling very much so at peace, feeling the tranquility that all the green grass, various flowers, plants, trees (that i couldn't even begin to mention) gives and feeling the calm atmosphere.  I had a picnic for one of course on the grass...lovely.  I loved doing nothing.

So i just spend my time in Perth, wandering, sitting and really enjoying the slower pace at which i felt and at which the city extrudes as well...i feel like i haven't been able to take it slow much so i really enjoyed not having a lot to do or anything for that matter and not feeling like im missing oot on anything.  The one thing i did do, i saw free didgerdoo lessons on i gave it a go.  Im rubbish as expected as with anything muscially related (except listening) but it nice to get a feel as peeps make it look so easy.

That's Perth...
