Where I stayed
Apparently it's a rockclimbing haven which i didn't realize until i got there and everyone was asking me aboot rockclimbing...makes sense with all the limestone. I didn't really have any big desire to go rock climbing...as when i went in slovenia last year, i wasn't a big fan and was aquainted with a fear of heights which i didn't know aboot (when hanging by a rope anyways)
As i get more and more southern, Thailand changes somewhat..the population is aboot half muslim and half buddhist...the food is different, as my favourite, Pad Thai is quite different with each restaurant having it's own version. And it's obviously really touristy with all the islands and haven't seen much Thai culture or any for that matter, just a bit as i hop from boat to bus to boat in different towns.
I didn't feel a need to venture oot to any of the islands on the west coast as i found my gem...I was successful in finding another paradise, in my eye anyways, as Railay is absoutely breathtaking...so i'm not complaining aboot the amount of tourism... i'm actually surprised there isn't more, it's kind of like a hidden gem. And there's lots to do as well. So i am sooo glad i was fortunate enough to stumble across this beauty...just from a simple suggestion!
