I found myself another hammock to swing in, in Mui Ne, right by the beach (not very nice beach tho, dirty and sandy) and coast of the South China Sea. It didn't beat my fabulous yellow hammock in Vang Vieng obviously but im not complaining. It was very very humid there so the nice breeze coming in from the water made it almost bearable and the sound of the crashing waves was lovely.

So after another 19 hr bus ride.. in one of those fancy sleeper buses so not all that bad...i made it to Mui Ne for one main reason - sandsleddin'. There's not a lot in Mui Ne. It's a hardcore fishing town, the smell constantly reminds you, hundreds of fishing boats but all the guesthouses are 3km out of town where there is really very little to do - eat, drink and be merry and sleep.

So woke up the first day of my life as 29 and headed to da dunes, sand that is. Went sand was fun and sandy! Not the adrenline rush i was expecting as they weren't the biggest but the scenery was gorgeous, just sand and sky!! So after that I figured there wasn't much left to do and decided to catch a bus, head south to Saigon that afternoon.
