Hey all,

So..... the tennis, I blame Andy Murray for making us very tired on Monday morning keeping us up until 2am!! Worth it though, amazing match and very emotional hearing him afterwards. As for F1, not a great day for the McLaren boys sadly......

Been a quiet week so far, busy at work sourcing names & addresses & following up mailshots with calls but the mailshots don't seem to have arrived over a week later, so we are going to wait a few more days. Amazing it takes so long for something to arrive in the same city, post from the UK has taken 2-3 weeks (not that's a hint or anything with someone's Birthday approaching!!!).

Went over to the cafe in our compound for lunch with Ray today, really it was a sneaky way of asking the manager if we could put a leaflet stand in there with our cards, he said yes, so that's cool. Looking for ways to promote ourselves & the company too.

I'm not feeling very well tonight, think I've got what Andy had last week, feeling feverish, aching all over & my joints ache too, hopefully a good sleep & I'll be ok. My lovely husband has just cooked some pasta for tea AND done the washing up! (we are missing the dishwasher!).

Thanks for the phone message Kate, must have just missed you by about 5 mins.

For info, we're always using Andy's skype login now & not mine, as we have the phone number linked to his account - so just a reminder his is:

& our telephone number is 02392160779, cost of a local call from landlines & mobiles from the UK or part of your free minutes.

Yes, another hint ;)

Just seen Lou's photo of the hailstones in Port Solent & comments on FB about storms, we had a massive one here last night, very tropical, high winds, rain hammering down & constant thunder & lightening. Quite a show from the 11th floor!!!

Right, that's it for this evening, gonna chill out in front of the TV now, so until the next time.......

Hi you two,

Really sorry you're not feeling too good - probably all that partying catching up on you. Hope you are feeling better very soon anyway.

As always you are having a very busy time with all the socialising, sight-seeing and, oh yes, working! Have you made any definite 'sales' yet, or is it much too early for that kind of thing yet? Are you starting to get used to the lifestyle there? Not missing Pompey too much?!

Apologies for not posting for a while. Not on your scale at all but it's been a busy few weeks.

Last Friday was Jack's prom (pics on FB if you're allowed to look at them) - it was a ridiculously rainy night but that didn't dampen their enthusiasm at all. All the boy and girls looked amazing and turned up in all sorts of transport from luxury limos to space hoppers! Then it was the After Prom which finished at 4.30 am with a call "can you come and pick me up please Mum?!" - thankfully he was (relatively) sober and there was no-one around at that time to see me driving my car in my dressing gown! he slept most of Saturday, the up early Sunday to go up to London for Wireless Festival. My fears about them being able to get back from London safely were somewhat justified when they ended up in Wimbledon whilst trying to find Hyde Park! Still, they had a great, muddy time and ended up getting home at 2am. So, after that weekend, I was exhausted and I didn't even go to any of these events!!!

(I have noticed most of my posts are about what the kids have done, rather than me!)

I did have a big order for a kid's birthday on Saturday - it was quite a big 'do' - 150 guests and a circus for a 11-year-olds birthday in a huge f***-off house in Bashley, whose family made their money from 'recycling' - need I say more?! Actually they were a lovely family who were very appreciative - they have 8 kids so I'm hoping for a few more orders.

We are now on the last two weeks before the 'Summer' holidays so things at school are really busy with the year 6 production (Macbeth with a modern twist), many retirement 'dos' for our old head, moving classrooms, etc. It's always a ridiculously busy time so the 20th July can't come soon enough.

Simon and I have just been out for a curry to our 'local' - we got trapped in there by a sudden thunderstorm so stayed for an extra glass of wine - oh shame! He says to say 'Hello' by the way and asks if you've seen any decent bands over there yet?!

Ok, I'm off now - will catch up again very soon,

Much love to you both and wishing you better very soon,

Dad and Mum on

Hope you are feeling a lot better now and you both enjoy your visit to the great wall on Saturday. We had a good day in Portsmouth and got lots done,we managed to stay dry for a change. No rain!
I think Mum mentioned we met Theresa last week,it was really good catching up with her again after ten years. We had so much to talk about, she asked after you and Lou and took a lot of interest in what you were both doing. she was very surprised you had moved to China so soon after your wedding.
We will Skype on Sunday, lots of love Dad and Mum xxxx
