A quick dash home after work last night to freshen up - then we met Ray at the Capital Club (the 50th floor place) for the wine tasting & quiz night which he arranged.

Had a glass of wine at the bar, views not so good as it was really smoggy yesterday, although when it was dark & the smog had cleared, it was much clearer.

Met some really nice people again, then sat down to taste wine - 3 different wines from New Zealand, one white, 2 red. Generous measures to taste & top ups, along with finger food. Very happy!! After the tasting, Ray did the quiz - a great quizmaster, and in his element! There were about 8 teams of 2, team Perry did rather well coming joint 2nd, but lost it at the tiebreaker (we'd have been joint winners if Andy had listened to me when I said Australian wine was the biggest imported wine into the UK, not that I'm!!!). P.s  from Andy..And if you had listened to me on the tiebreaker question we would have won..............Grrrrrr

Talked to Ray later about work & he let us into a secret - the boss is really happy with our progress & thinks we'll do well. Ray is going to take over the training which is great, he's playing golf today though so it's quiet in the office without him or Steve. We've been left to our own devices, doing lots of internet research, updating our Linkedin profiles and using that to our advantage.

Looking forward to the weekend, we were possibly going to work & carry on training with Steve so he could go back to the UK next week, but now he's been called away earlier we definitely have the weekend to ourselves. May do a bit of sightseeing tomorrow which will be nice.

You won't believe it, but we're going to stay in tonight!! Desperate for a quiet evening having been out the last 3 nights. Sarah Hobday - that's your fault, I do belive your words were 'accept every invitation'!!!!!

Have a good weekend everyone, from team Perry!!

Hey guys! Sounds like your social life over there is even more hectic than it was here!! The rickshaw story sounded a complete nightmare - guess you live and learn with these kinds of experiences! Ray's Quiz night sounded good. Bet you're looking forward to the weekend, it must be your first proper chill one? - are you all settled into your flat now?..

Jacob and I went to see Derren Brown last night in Sarfend! - he was great. Have been on leave all this week so back to mayhem next week. Me and Terri have a day trip to London planned next month, we're going to do the V&A and then lots of cocktails!

Apart from that nothing much else going on. Going to Holly's birthday do on the Common, and I have my do next month too, and Sarah and Nick have a birthday do which is going to involve a stay over at the Sustainability Centre in Petersfield (or whatever its called!).

The weather is SHIT! I've had the heating on today and I had to put an extra duvet on my bed last night!

Well that's about it as I'm sure you've had enough excitement for one day!

Keep posting the blogs, its great to hear all about your adventures!
