Well as the border is so close between the US of A and Mexico I decided to take a day trip to the worlds most crossed border Tijuana, plus I wanted to check it out to see what all the fuss was about, and do a recce as I was getting a flight out of there to South West Mexico, Guadalajara (it was cheaper to fly from than the States!) So got the "trolley" (a tram to me) which took less than 30 minutes, got off then walked the 15 minutes it takes you to cross the border then hey presto you have crossed the border.

Anyway I would describe the place as pure "cheeseville", lots of people trying to encourage tourists to go into their shops, bars and cafe's buy things from them off the street including jewellery, drugs plus if i named it i cold get it - clearly I didnt buy anything!

I am so glad I had someone else with me it felt a bit safer as due to the apparently high drug trafficking here there were armed heavily armed police, touring round in a truck ready to pounce and i even witnessed arrests and the men put in the back of the trucks handcuffed! Time for a quick exit via the bar to have a Margarita and tequilla chaser!!!

Lots of love Tracey xxx
