Arrived safely in San Francisco at 9pm (had to forward my watch 2 hours), so now only 8 hours behind the UK, the weather is cold and it has been raining! Argh, I am not used to this cold weather and I certainly do not have the wardrobe (or backpack) for these low temperatures! I have managed to pull my clothes together to ensure warmth plus I acquired myself a pair of fluffy boots!! Will be moving on as soon as I have seen the sights the city has to offer to warmer places!

Though I did have the best nights sleep in a very long time! dorm room of 4 with only 2 of us in there, comfortable bed and blackout curtains, sweet!

There are lots of "street people" asking for money!
