Went to Kuala Selengor to see the Fireflies - they light up at night along the River Selengor, alarm bells rang in my head as this is the first time I have had to wear a life jacket in Asia, - safety dosent appear to be someting they consider here! Then I saw the colour of the water and worried and prayed that we wouldnt capsize!

The fireflies were like twinkling fairy lights at christmas, that and the bright stars in the sky it was a really pleasant sight.

Hired bicycles the following morning after the rain had stopped to a nature park, and just as we were part way down the track the heavens opened up on us, so we took shelter up a bird watch tower until the rain susided only to be rained on again so ended up being soaked right down to our underwear - very amusing! Cycled back to collect our bags in the rain and then another bus journey back to Kuala Lumpar - sat the whole journey in wet clothes and it was also raining inside the bus!!! :-) Decided that we would try and dry out in Starbucks and have a very "western hot drink"! Had to put napkins down on the seats to soak up the water out of my shorts - a very funny sight as when I got up there was a mould of my bottom!!! lol

Also went to hell on earth to organise bus ticket to Singapre - managed to do it relatively quite quickly!

Now have a stinking rotten cold!!!

Lots of love to you all
