We made it to the port in a taxi one thing I will say about Morroco its really really cheap for everything and you could get by here with such little money. We got a little hassle from a guy at the port trying to help us but they want money when they help you so as usual Ian left it to me to get rid of him and explain that we did not have any money luckily this time he went off without too much hassle.
We got the ferry over to Algeciras it only took an hour and half and then we where in spain, I felt a huge weight lift as now we can relax a little. In morroco you are always on edge always watching and not trusting people that it makes you a little crazy. So we went and got our bus tickets and we waited in a little bus station cafe and had our first taste of Spanish food. Ian had some paella and I had some meatballs it was very tasty and I feel better that I can at least eat again without being so paranoid about where the food has been stored all day. We had met an english lady on the train that was so ill by the food in morroco that i felt really glad and relieved that we had come off so lucky.
Ian was feeling much better as well thankfully and we go on the bus to our final place the Costa Del Sol rodney! It was a lovely drive along the coast through Marbella and we even saw the rock of Gibralter as well. As we where travelling though you could not help but notice the strips of english bars and restaurants and we laughed about what we have got coming up.
We got the the centre of Torrimolinos and got a taxi to our hotel. Its ok the hotel is clean and we have a large kitchen and balcony not overlooking the pool but its ok the only problem is that the room really smells of smoke its making me feel sick. We dumped our stuff Ian had a quick shower and off we went to look for something to do. Straight into an english bar Browns had a glass of wine and a beer for 4 euros ha ha then went on to another place. Where we are staying is a large area full of english bars and irish bars and we ended up in the smugglers irish bar taking shots of tequila and laughing at the funnyness of where we are.
As we walked past the bars imagine how funny it was to see loads of english couples a little older all sat in a bar watching only fools and horses. I always thought people where kidding when they said they came on holiday like this but is so true. Each to there own is all I can say. Ian is struggling to adjust and keeps saying he wants some spanish food. Lol.
