Got up and got ready to go to the Autumn Fair that is in Basel.  Its in Switzerland across the border and we got the train took around 20 mins its funny how you can zip in and out of different countries in such an easy way.  We did have to go through passport control its a good job that we did not get stopped as we did not have our passports with us.  We walked a bit but did not have a map so could have been going anywhere I asked the policeman and he said that it was a tram into the centre number 8 so off we went on that.

We got off as soon as we saw the first hint of a fair and it was so cool. They had 8 different areas placed around the city with lots of crazy fair rides and stalls some had roller coasters and the last one had lots of shops selling food and other things like xmas stuff.  We went to them all although it was a big walk between some of them.  At the first one Ian did not want to go on the rides but when we got to the second one we found some good stuff and went in the fun house together then went on a really funny ghost train and a big roller coaster which I did not like as I felt like it was going to go off the end of the rails.  We went the next one and they had huge big rides there was like a big swing that went upside down and I would never go on it in a million years.  It was frightning.  We did have fun though and then we walked to all the others one with a big wheel we never went on anything else we just watched the peoples faces on them and had a laugh.

The last one was food and stuff and we where going to have something to eat but to be honest I was a bit bored with the food and not very hungry so off we went and got some swiss chocolate instead it was a big marshmallow covered in chocolate yum yum.  We went to the supermarket and got some food to take back to the hotel instead Ian had wanted this pasta dish that the german couple we met in sorrento had told us about so he got that and tried it.  We also got the tickets for our train to Geneva tomorrow and emailed the Riad in Marrakesh.
