London!

I'm on my last stop on my 3 month journey around the world. It has been great and I think I had the best time in France. I had such a great time I didn't have time to update my blog. I also had some of the best food I've had on my trip. Fondue, real good crepes, creme brulee, fois gras... So much good stuff. Strangely, I didn't have any red wine... I think I'll have to come back and do that. I took lots of pictures so I'll fill in the missing days and give everyone a bit more information on my time in Paris. I spent quite a bit of money in France. I am estimating a bit over $600-700 USD.
In any case, I met my friend Christelle this morning and she took me to the Charles De Gaulle Airport by Metro. Since BMI canceled their service to London from CDG, I had to go them first and have them issue me a new ticket and then I could board the Air France flight. Passport Control out of Paris was simple. They just looked at my boarding pass and passport and stamped me out. Getting into England was a bit more interesting. They asked me what I'll be doing, how long I'll be staying, where I'll be staying, and what I do. Very interesting. Not sure why they do that, but I imagine London is becoming a sort of Big Brother society. Kind of disturbing, actually.
I took the Underground train out of Heathrow into the city and it cost me 4£, which isn't so bad. The ride took a little over an hour and the hostel is quite nice. But I'm paying over 15£, which is almost $30, so that's not so great.
Tomorrow, I'm changing to a cheaper hostel, so I think I'll go to Stonehenge on the 14th and just walk around the city tomorrow...
