After a 5 hour flight, I've arrived in Kenya. The flight wasn't too bad. I had a window seat so I was able to view the wonderful view outside. Kenya doesn't seem too bad. There was an ATM outside of passport control and I was able to withdraw money pretty easily. I was unable to get a transit visa for $20 USD. Instead, I paid $50 USD for the tourist visa. It seems like the passport people look for any reason to make you pay more.

Anyhow, I was picked up at the airport and got to the Nairobi Youth Hostel just fine. Since it's not safe to walk around late at night, I am back in the hostel. I'll probably wander around the city tomorrow and get some postcards.
