Steve and I landed in Hong Kong.
The airport is impressive. However, our guesthouse was pretty bad. We ended up in a room with 2 bunk beds. The place smelled pretty bad and Steve was unaccustomed to these type of conditions so he wasn't very happy. We ended up spending a lot of time away from the room and walked around. We went up to Victoria Peak which ended up being completely fogged in... That was a complete waste of $12 USD...
In addition, it was raining a bit so Hong Kong made a bad first impression on us.
Anyhow, Hong Kong isn't as bad as my friend Steve says it is. The people know English and it's fairly easy getting around. However, I don't think it's a place for me...It's a shopping and eating mecca. Not much else to do outdoorwise or see sightseeing-wise...
