Since today had another nice weather forecast, we drove again from Maricopa to Prescott (again a 3 hour drive). I had 2 goals : set up a glider and land on my feet.
The first goal was not that difficult, cause there were 3 gliders to set up.
The second a bit more difficult, because the forecasted wind stayd away. There was hardly any breeze, and when it was there, it would not fly in the correct direction.
But by 15h00 I finaly could convince Gregg, the hanggliding insructor, that I only had 1 hour left. So there we went : Me in a harnas and the glider on my shoulders. The same guys from yesterday helped me to start. I rand harder than my feet could carry me, and together with the little towing from Gregg that resulted in an actual flight of 5 meters far and 1 meter high. And I landed on the tip of my toes. That is actually a part of the feet ;)
Back in Maricopa, Ed cooked some steaks on the BBQ, Lori, Peter and I made some potatoes, corn, salads, veggies,.... Together that resulted in a delicious meal.
