This was magnificient. A ride into time. The ride meanders the mountains, up and down, right and left. About 21 miles on a not paved route. The only things you see is you and the mountains.
This route was first established in 1901 so the mules could get the needed materials to Roosevelt Dam.
And offcourse we stopped at several times to take pictures. The height in those mountains makes one very thirsty. So in Tortilla Flat I desperatly needed to buy another drink to go.
Perry guided us to Trader Joe's supermarket where I bought ingredients for the dinner I would make them : Bell Peppers filled with minced meat, rice and green peas.
It was an exiting day for us, so at 23h00 I fell asleep.
