The plane left Brussels with a 40 minute delay due to heavy fog, but we arrived on time in Chicago. From the 90 minutes I had to transfer, it took me 80 minutes to pass customs, security, pickup suitcase, dropping off suitcase, security again and bording.
Both on the flight from Brussels to Chicago as on the flight from Chicago to Las Vegas, the company next to me was nicely entertaining. Nice because it (the company) was only there from time to time (not talking constantly). Entertaining because I could ask questions (from time to time) and get an answer.
In Las Vegam my hubby was waiting for me on the bagage caroussel.

In Europe we rented a compactclass car with all insurances included. At the rentalcarstation they insisted that ze upgraded to medium size. We declined to proposal. When picking up the car we saw the raison. We got a free upgrade, because there was no compact car available ;)

What I allways do on the plane is putting my watch immediatly on the timezone of the destination. But when you put your watch back for 9 hoursm you can't fool your body for only a limited time.
At 23h00 I was literary walking like a zombie (sleepwalking) trough the streets of Las Vegas. Lucky for me, my hubby was holding hands.
I knew it in advance and it came true : Las Vegas is not my kind of City.

we love vegas
we were maaried on hallowen an go back every other halloween and have a great time
